What Is It That We Believe?
Have you ever doubted one of the church teachings and could not find the answer? Has someone challenged you on elements of your faith and you just didn’t have the knowledge to defend yourself? Are there things being taught that you never understood why they mattered? Wondering what’s the difference between us and our Protestant brothers and sisters? Or our Orthodox family? Or our Jewish roots? If you are asking some questions about the faith and would like to have a space to explore those, this group should give a forum for us to go over that. None of us know it all, but together we can work out some of those things and be more informed. The Bible mentions many times how important it is to review our moral stewardship as a group and not on our own. There is tremendous value in groups when it comes to discernment and justice.
We will meet on the 2nd Friday of each month Sept – June, at approximately 7:00pm.
While the Knights have been gracious enough to allow us to share space on their website, this is NOT a Knights meeting or restricted at all to KC members. This is simply sponsored by the Knights and the parish. It is open to all who have a hunger to explore this wonderful blessing of faith and church that we have.
There is no need to register, check in, or be on time. We will pick up the topics that we decide we want to explore and go over those as they play out. There will be a list of things to explore, but there wont be any limitation or requirement to cover a certain block of time. We will go over things at whatever pace we deem fit to do so. And pray that the Holy Spirit will be guiding us along the way. Bring your Bible and a notebook if you want to. And bring your working gloves because we are likely to dig in hard on some things along the way. The goal will be to give you the tools to be able to find the answers to questions on your own, and to be able to defend your beliefs in any discussion.

Our first study program will be FULFILLED Part 1 from Ascension Press.
You can click on the image to go to the source website to see what resources are available. We are keeping the cost low by only purchasing one online access that we will share at the meetings. But if you wanted to you could buy your own online access from the site and look through the program videos yourself on your own time too. There are other study resources too, such as books and charts etc.
There are lots of great study programs on the Ascension Press that we can try out as well so feel free to pursue them and make suggestions.
